Honey benefits

Bees are remarkable creatures. They are responsible for pollinating around 85 percent of the world's food crops. They also make honey, wax, and propolis, all of which have been regarded as skin healers for thousands of years. All three ingredients are valued for their moisturizing, antiseptic, and skin-conditioning properties. You can use honey for everything, from a face mask to a wound healer.

HONEY Mel mellis
Heal cuts, scrapes and bruises Honey is a natural antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic. It contains hydrogen peroxide, which is partly responsible for its healing properties. Medical-grade honey is used widely to treat wounds of all kinds—from minor cuts and scalds to skin ulcers.
acts as an antiseptic Honey is a traditional remedy for acne. The benefits of honey are also being researched in the fight against a strain of bacteria called MRSA.
Repair and protects skin A natural humectant (a substance that attracts and retains moisture), honey makes a good addition to skin care products, especially those meant for sensitive skin.
improves skin tone Honey is a natural and traditional way to lighten skin and hair, an effect that is the result of its hydrogen peroxide content. You can apply it neat to the skin, but it is widely used as an ingredient in products.
Raw propolis
This sticky,  vitamin-rich resin is scraped directly from beehives.
Acts as an  antiseptic Skin creams containing propolis have been shown to have beneficial effects on burns, wounds, inflammation of the skin, and other skin lesions and leg ulcers.
treats acne Many natural acne treatments make use of the antibacterial properties of propolis. It helps remove acne-causing bacteria from the skin.
Repair and protects skin The phenolic compounds in propolis, particularly its caffeic-acid content, are more potent than both vitamins C and E. This gives propolis antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a good addition to creams for sunburn and scalds. It may also help to enhance skin-cell growth, increase circulation, and prevent scars.
BEESWAX Cera alba
Heal cuts, scrapes and bruises A good base for ointments and salves, beeswax is also used to heal burns, bruises, and inflammation. This makes it an ideal ingredient for skin creams and salves.
conditions and soothes skin Beeswax adds a rich, emollient quality to creams, which is very useful for dry skin. Deeply moisturizing, it also creates a waterproof barrier on the skin, which makes it ideal for skin conditions such as psoriasis and dermatitis.
Repair and protects skin A natural hydrating agent, beeswax moisturizes the skin. It is great for chapped or weather-damaged lips and hands.
Acts as an antibacterial Studies suggest that beeswax has an antibacterial action against the bacteria staphylococcus, and may help heal fungal infections such as candida.
